Thrive and Connect
A mental health therapy group for veterinary worker who are struggling with vicarious trauma and/or burnout.
When: Tuesday 4pm-6pm October 10-November 14th
Where: Virtual meetings with two in person October 24 and November 7th
Cost: 60$ a session billed at the end of each session
Size:4-6 participants
What to Expect:
Each group will begin with a way to connect to yourself and the group. We will then discuss a topic, followed by a personal exercise and closing with a take away. You can benefit from this group by sharing personal experience or by sharing nothing.
Week 1: Identity as a veterinary worker and identity as a person outside of work
Week 2: Discussion around and exercise on values
Week 3: EMDR IGTP (Integrated Group Treatment Protocol)
Week4: Understanding emotions and how they can be important
Week 5: EMDR IGTP
Week 6: Answering Ethical Delima from within
